Come learn the instruments of the orchestra as the DSO performs Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf . We are thrilled to have Richard Price as our narrator for this symphonic fairy tale for children while the orchestra illustrates each character with a their individual themes represented by different instruments of the orchestra.
The DSO will also perform the enchanting work of Ravel’s,Ma mère l’Oye or Mother Goose Suite. Some of the movements featured are the Sleeping Beauty Pavane, Tom Thumb and Fairies Garden.
