The Danbury Music Centre, is 501(c)(3), a non-profit organization located at 256 Main Street in the heart of downtown Danbury. We provide classical community music experiences through our ensembles and events.

Danbury Symphony Orchestra
The Danbury Symphony Orchestra performs a wide spectrum of works from symphonic literature.
Summer Youth Chorus
Summer Youth Chorus is a one-week choral program for students in grades 4–9, designed to build confidence, musicianship, and a love of singing in a supportive and energetic setting.
Danbury Concert Chorus
The Danbury Concert Chorus is a non-auditioned ensemble that performs a variety of choral masterworks including an annual Messiah performed with members of the Danbury Symphony Orchestra.
Danbury Community Orchestra
The Danbury Community Orchestra is a true community orchestra that welcomes young as well as experienced musicians to play together in a supportive and artistically adventurous environment.
DMC Community Band
The Danbury Community Band performs a wide variety of music from the band repertoire.
Danbury Centre Strings
The Danbury Centre Strings (DCS) provides a challenging, exciting, educational ensemble experience for string players.
Summer Chamber Music Workshop
Our program offers an opportunity for string players (violin, viola, cello and bass), ages 15 and up to play chamber music in a non-competitive setting.
Summer Bands
Summer Bands offers participants at all levels the opportunity to play staples from the concert band and jazz band repertoire as well as the opportunity to learn a new instrument and for participants at a beginner level.
Summer Strings
Summer Strings offers participants the opportunity to perform in large ensembles and chamber music groups and to learn fiddle tunes.
Nutcracker Ballet

This wonderful Danbury tradition has been presented by the Danbury Music Centre for over 50 years. Featuring over 200 dancers, it showcases talented dancers from the greater Danbury area.
