The Danbury Vaudeville Orchestra and the Danbury Music Centre present three films with live music accompaniment.
The Immigrant, starring Charlie Chaplin- Chaplin’s famous “Little Tramp” character arrives in America and navigates the chaos and hope of a new beginning.
Big Business, featuring Laurel and Hardy – A simple Christmas tree sales visit spirals into one of silent comedy’s great neighborhood disasters.
One Week, starring Buster Keaton- Newlyweds attempt to build a mail-order house with predictably disastrous and hilarious results.
The music, performed live, with an authentic score curated by Danbury Vaudeville Orchestra, founder and director, Michael Bank, the music recreates the excitement of the silent film era.
All proceeds will benefit the programs of the Danbury Music Centre and will help provide scholarships for our youth programs.
