DMC Community Band: The Magic of Spring

On Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 3PM the Danbury Community Band, under the direction of Albert Montecalvo, will perform a spring concert in the Marian Anderson Recital Hall.

The concert will feature “Amazing Grace”,” I Dreamed a Dream ” from Les Miz, an encore performance of Gustav Holst’  “First Suite in E Flat for  Band, “Overture to Candide” by Leonard Bernstein and to recapture the spirit of Main Street Danbury during the early 20th Century, “The Circus Band” by Charles Ives.

The concert is co hosted by the Danbury Music Centre and the Danbury Museum and Historical Society.

The concert is free but free will donations will be graciously accepted.
