American Icons Concert at the Ives Birthplace
The Danbury Museum & Historical Society and the DMC are teaming up to present a very special concert of the DMC Community Band on the lawn of the Charles Ives Birthplace.The concert is centered around the theme of American Musical Icons, Past & Present. It will include music by Charles Ives, Richard Rogers, George Gershwin, Louis Armstrong, and more.
If the weather is inclement, the concert will be moved to the Danbury Music Centre’s Marian Anderson Recital Hall.
