DMC Community Band: An American Salute

The Danbury Music Centre and the Danbury Museum and Historical Society present the Danbury Music Centre Community Band, under the direction of Albert Montecalvo.

The band will perform a spirited concert of American composers and patriotic tunes commemorating and celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. A varied program celebrating the rich diversity of our nation, featuring music by Bernstein, Copland, Gershwin, Ives, and Sousa, along with a Patriotic Suite of classic American favorites.
