Danbury Symphony Orchestra: Ives 150
The Danbury Museum & Historical Society and the Danbury Music Centre invite you to join our local, national, and international artists for a once in a lifetime celebration of Charles Ives’s 150th birthday!
On Sunday, October 20, at 3 pm at Ives Concert Hall, join us for a performance of the Danbury Symphony Orchestra.
The DSO will perform Ives, Symphony No. 2, and “From the Roots”, a work by local composer, Larry Deming.
The DSO will also be joined by special guest, Wayne DuMaine, trumpet (Metropolitan Opera, Orpheus) for Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto in e flat.
