Chamber Music Intensive, July 18-22
The internationally renowned faculty of the Danbury Music Centre’s Chamber Music Intensive will perform a concert.Come and hear them on Thursday, August 5 at 7:30pm, United Jewish Center, 141 Deer Hill Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810. The program features string quartets by Rachmaninov, Beethoven and Stephen Dankner.
Suggested donation at the door is $15.
Bulgarian Joana Genova is Assistant Professor at the University of Indianapolis and second violinist of The Indianapolis Quartet. She is Co-Artistic Director of Taconic Music in Manchester (Vermont) along with her husband, Ariel Rudiakov and has been a frequent soloist with the Danbury Symphony Orchestra. Heather Braun is the first violinist of Arneis Quartet and on the faculty of Boston University School of Music, and St. Anselm College (New Hampshire).
Violist and conductor Ariel Rudiakov, is the Artistic Director of the Danbury Symphony Orchestra and adjunct faculty at The University of Indianapolis where he coaches chamber music and conducts the UIndy Chamber Orchestra. Belgian cellist Tom Landschoot teaches at Arizona State University and is the Artistic Director of Sonoran Chamber Music Festival.
