Where We Are Located
The DMC is housed in a beautiful 19th-century building, formerly the public library, at 256 Main Street, Danbury CT. In 1994, the Danbury Common Council dedicated the upstairs rehearsal hall in honor of the late Marian Anderson, a world-renowned contralto who was a resident of Danbury and served on the Music Centre Board of Directors. Parking is available on the street (metered), or in the Bardo Parking Garage behind the Danbury Music Centre. The garage entrance is on Library Place, and charges $1/hour. There is one dedicated handicapped parking space in the rear of the building and several spots located in the parking garage adjacent to the elevators. The handicapped entrance and elevator are located in the rear of the building.
